Our courtesy vehicles are the cars retired from our dealership's fleet. They are just like any other Cadillac we sell, but when we took delivery of these models, we kept them for use at the dealership rather than put them immediately for sale on our lot. Typically, these courtesy cars were used as service loaners, which are the cars provided to our service clientele while their vehicle was in for maintenance or repair, or as demonstration models used to showcase features and performance to prospective buyers.

That depends on each specific car, but typically we like to cycle out our courtesy cars every few thousand miles so that our clients will always be able to enjoy a loaner vehicle that is as close to new as possible. This means that most of our courtesy and demo cars have less than 10,000 miles on them, some far less.

We're adamant that every loaner or courtesy car in our fleet is rigorously maintained, as we want to ensure that every client who may use one of these models has an exceptional experience with it. These cars are therefore looked over far more frequently than a typical car owner, who may only consider doing maintenance when prompted by a dashboard indicator or once they've reached a certain mileage interval. With a courtesy car, it is rare for one to go for any significant period without careful inspection and service.

In almost every instance, yes. Because these cars are typically so new -- often just a year or two old, and sometimes even newer than that -- they are nearly always still covered by the factory warranty when we transition them out of our courtesy or demo fleet. For even more peace of mind, you can also opt for an extended warranty when you buy a loaner car. This provides additional coverage once the factory warranty expires, and is a great investment if you plan to keep your vehicle for more than a few years.
